Baldwin adds stakeholder safety and quality tool
External stakeholder safety reporting is a key component of the interface management concept that ICAO has encouraged organisations to adopt for some time and relates to the recent FAA Part 5 NPRM.

Baldwin Safety & Compliance has released an external stakeholder safety and quality reporting tool. This new feature follows Baldwin's robust commitment to data security and serves as a valuable interface to improve safety through additional input into the safety management system (SMS).

External stakeholder safety reporting is a key component of the interface management concept that ICAO has encouraged organisations to adopt for some time and relates to the recent FAA Part 5 NPRM.

“Receiving external safety reports can help companies of any size improve safety through widening the scope of hazard identification beyond the organisation,” says Dr. Jason Starke, director of safety, Baldwin Safety & Compliance. “This tool was developed so external stakeholders can participate as an additional hazard and risk identification mechanism for organisations."

The feature is available to all Baldwin SMS subscribers and can be activated by contacting customer support. Each client will have a unique URL associated with the external reporting that can be used directly or linked to a QR code to be shared on company websites and other communication mediums to facilitate external stakeholder access. The feature has been designed to maintain the rigorous security protocols Baldwin uses to protect client data in all Baldwin products.
