PHI in Louisiana named as authorised Sikorsky centre
PHI has international capabilities, providing expert support at the ready for operators when they need it. It has worked alongside Sikorsky for some time and is now authorised by the OEM to work on the S-92 and S-76C.
Sikorsky and PHI have an extensive history, and the customer support centre appointment is a natural evolution in the long-standing partnership between the two companies.

PHI MRO Services, a division of PHI responsible for maintenance, repair and overhaul services based in Lafayette, Louisiana, has announced that it is now a Sikorsky-authorised customer support centre for the S-92 and S-76C series helicopters.

“This partnership shows a commitment from PHI to support Sikorsky and all of its operators around the world,” says Tom Neumann, president of PHI MRO Services. “With 74 years of experience, our entire team, from engineers to aircraft maintenance technicians, are ready for anything, including heavy maintenance and specialised completions.”

PHI has nationwide and international capabilities, providing expert support at the ready for operators when they need it.

“Sikorsky values our long-standing partnership with PHI and is thrilled to expand our worldwide customer support centre network to support S-76 and S-92 aircraft,” comments Leon Silva, vice president of global commercial and military systems at Sikorsky. “Our customers will benefit from the advanced service capabilities and technical expertise provided by PHI, allowing their fleet to stay mission ready.”

Sikorsky and PHI have an extensive history, and the customer support centre appointment is a natural evolution in the long-standing partnership between the two companies. As a customer support centre, PHI MRO Services will provide advanced service capabilities to organisations around the world. Whether their need is utility, air medical, VIP or head of state, PHI can provide support.

PHI MRO Services has also announced ‘Call PHI’, which is projected to launch in June 2023 and offers helicopter operators around the world 24/7 access to expert diagnostics and resolutions for maintenance concerns.

“PHI is focused on providing the helicopter industry with affordable maintenance support through Call PHI,” says Tom Neumann, president of PHI MRO Services. “We understand the importance of keeping aircraft operational, and we are committed to helping all operators keep their rotors spinning.”

Call PHI is a dedicated maintenance support line based at the company's facility in Lafayette that is staffed by helicopter experts. When an operator's helicopter is grounded, Call PHI is standing by to help return their aircraft to operational status at an affordable rate. Additionally, in the event that an inquiry requires further assistance, PHI can send a field service team directly to the site and provide additional support when it is needed most.

“Whether law enforcement, air ambulance or VIP, our team can assist in diagnosing and supporting a wide range of helicopter types,” says Joshua Perkins, director of Part 145 maintenance. “With our team of experts, most calls can be resolved on the phone, but if you need onsite support, our field service teams can come and help.”
