Troyes airfield, France-based start up flight school SG Aéro has bought an Alsim AL250 simulator.

The AL250 simulator addresses initial phase training needs (PPL, CPL and IR/ME) and is a SEP/MEP re-configurable simulator certified as an EASA FNPT II and TC Level 2 IPC. In addition, it offers both classic and glass cockpits for each flight model at the simple flick of a switch. This device has been extremely well received since its creation, and more than 80 of these have already been installed and are in successful operation worldwide.

President and education manager Stéphane Guelin says: "SG Aéro wants to be a human scale school to remain as close as possible to the needs of its trainees. The choice of an Alsim simulator was dictated by the quality of conception and design, and the assistance the operator gets throughout the life of the simulator. I have been an Alsim simulator user for many years, and I did my IR/ME training on one of the very first AL100s, which only had a TV screen as a display system. Alsim is a great company that listens to its customers. The AL250 is the best compromise for starting an ATO because it is a versatile and compact simulator."

Alsim sales director Audrey Jeffroy adds " We are very pleased to count SG Aéro among our customers. With several years of experience in the aviation world, Stéphane is passionate, hardworking and has always been an advocate of the use of Alsim flight simulators as an essential tool in the flight training process."
