Insurance broker buys aviation specialist
The purchase of Aviation Insurance Australia, a well-respected broker, enhances Gallagher's aviation capabilities and offers cross-selling opportunities in Australia.

Arthur J Gallagher & Co has acquired Brisbane, Queensland-based Aviation Insurance Australia, a specialist retail insurance broker founded in 1993 and serving aviation and aerospace clients throughout the country. Ian Tait and his team will remain in their current location under the direction of Paul Harvey, managing director of specialisms for Gallagher in Australia.
