SEA adds to LatAm leadership
Michael Roy joins SEA to manage its Latin America business. He says his success to date is largely due to his relationship-focused approach, language fluency and insight into culture, business practices and governance.

Melbourne, Florida-based Southeast Aerospace (SEA) is pleased to welcome Michael Roy as its new business development manager for Latin America. Roy brings over 12 years of experience developing business and selling aviation technology, parts and repair services in the Latin American market.

Before joining SEA, Roy led marketing and sales operations at Bose Corporation while managing 35 resellers across Florida and Latin America, selling aviation headset technology. He also worked as a consulting director of sales for LATAMCO Consulting, where he developed business in US domestic and Latin American markets for consumer goods, technology, aviation, military and mining. Roy holds a BA in international business from Old Dominion University and an MA from George Mason University.

“I look forward to building new business, forging relationships with existing clients and expanding SEA's Latin American footprint,” says Roy. “My expertise includes designing sales and marketing strategies, identifying high-potential aviation markets, securing a network of key contacts at industry events and partnering with parts and repair departments to maximise revenue. I have also worked with cross-functional teams to gain project and product certifications via Latin American agencies such as ANAC and AFCA (DGAC). Much of my success across the region is due to my relationship-focused approach, fluency in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, and insight into each country's culture, business practices and governance.”

Executive vice president Joe Braddock adds: “Southeast Aerospace is excited to have Michael Roy on board. He adds great experience and professionalism to our team, in addition to an understanding of Latin American business activities and requirements. We look forward to adding his skills and talents in expanding our sales activities.”
