VSE Corporation has acquired Atech Turbine Components, a Massachusetts-based specialist in complex hot-section repairs for aircraft turbine engines.

Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Auburn, Massachusetts, Atech employs around 40 people and primarily supports Pratt & Whitney Canada engine platforms. Its proprietary repair approvals cover more than 300 part numbers, and it serves as the sole-source provider for many flight-critical repairs across the PT6, JT15D, PW100, PW150, PW200, PW300 and PW500 engine families, as well as the PW901 auxiliary power unit. The company’s repair capability spans combustion liners, exhaust ducts, turbine shroud housings and structural engine components, supporting business and general aviation, regional commercial, rotorcraft, military and special-mission operators.

VSE plans to expand Atech’s capacity and capabilities to accelerate new proprietary repair development, extending its OEM-aligned engine aftermarket strategy following earlier additions of Turbine Weld and NorthStar. VSE, headquartered in Miramar, Florida, provides aftermarket parts distribution and MRO services covering engine and airframe accessory components for commercial and business and general aviation operators.
