Audited FBO and handling agent network Paragon Aviation Group has welcomed SpectrumFX to Strategic Partners, its exclusive vendor programme that offers special pricing on a variety of aviation-related services and products to Paragon Preferred customers.

Founded in 2012 in response to the growing threat of lithium battery fires onboard aircraft, SpectrumFX uses patented Firebane, a liquid fire suppression agent, to extinguish the hottest burning reactive metal fires caused by personal electronic devices such as laptops and cell phones.

“SpectrumFX developed the LIFE Kit to assist flight crews in suppressing reactive metal fires safely and effectively,” says SpectrumFX vice president Ross Faith. “Firebane is the only agent that has been rated Class D for reactive metal fires. Firebane will extinguish and suppress lithium fires much faster and more efficiently than Halon or Halon and water alone.”
