Flightstar installs Alto CMS in Learjet 45
This first system delivery is part of a complete CMS obsolescence solution for the Learjet 45 series. Several direct replacement panel options are available for aircraft with and without headphone audio or IFE.
The Alto Cadence CMS programme solves a known obsolescence equipment issue.

Champaign, Illinois-based full-service company Flightstar Corp has recently delivered a tailored Alto Cadence cabin management system (CMS) in partnership with Alto Aviation. The CMS was specifically designed and engineered for installation in Bombardier Learjet 45 series aircraft.

All new cabin switch panels provided by Alto were fit-compatible, including the unique curved panels for each seat location. This installation eliminated the existing headphone audio jacks and added USB-C charging ports in each seat location. The lavatory and cockpit also received new fit-compatible panels and switches.

This first system delivery is part of a complete CMS obsolescence solution for the Bombardier Learjet 45 series. Utilising Alto's catalogue approach, several direct replacement panel options are available for aircraft with and without headphone audio or in-flight entertainment.

“Flightstar is excited to offer this Alto Cadence CMS programme to provide a solution for a known obsolescence equipment issue,” says technical sales director Rodd Caldwell. “This is an additional example of Flightstar's commitment to extend the life of the Bombardier Learjet 45 series.”

“The team at Flightstar Corporation provided a professional and seamless installation with extremely close attention to detail," adds Alto Aviation senior technical sales manager Steve Lord. "As part of this project, they also reworked the forward cabin bulkhead and installed a new HD monitor for the Airshow 500 moving map video that looks amazing. We are excited to partner on many more projects with Flightstar in the future.”
