Two TAG units renew their Wyvern Wingman certification
Safety is one of TAG's core values and the company has once again achieved the Wingman certification renewal for its UK and Malta AOC operations.

TAG Aviation's UK and Maltese AOC operations have once more secured their designation as Wyvern Wingman certified operators following successful audits conducted by Wyvern in August 2022. The Wyvern Wingman standard, the first air charter audit standard in the aviation industry, provides a safety benchmark that allows air charter customers to assess performance expectations against recognised industry best operating practices before purchasing air charter services.

“As safety is one of TAG's core values, we are delighted to once again achieve the Wingman certification renewal. Safety is always at the heart of what we do, and we continue to practise at the highest standards, which enables us to meet the level of excellence set by Wyvern. I am extremely proud of the TAG team involved in achieving this certification,” says CEO Joanne Goodall.

Wyvern Wingman operators are evaluated by the Wingman standard criteria. The scope of the evaluation includes an assessment of operational activities, review on the company's operational history and safety records, safety management system (SMS), internal evaluation programme, administrative compositions, technical documentation, pilot and aircraft records, training requirements, and maintenance operations including technician training and experience.

Wyvern celebrates TAG Aviation's achievements. Successful completion of the Wingman audit is proof that its leadership has identified safety as a core value and its team embraces excellence at all levels,” says Wyvern CEO Sonnie Bates.
