AirSprint achieves Wyvern Wingman certification
AirSprint has always treated every flight as an opportunity to demonstrate and improve its level of safety, and working through the Flight Leader programme with a Wyvern coach has taken it to the next level.

Canada-based fractional jet ownership company AirSprint has secured its designation as a Wyvern Wingman certified operator. The company claims to be the first ever operator to achieve Wingman certification within one year strictly by way of participation in the Flight Leader programme with quarterly coaching by Wyvern. The Wyvern Wingman standard, the first air charter audit standard in the aviation industry, provides a safety benchmark that allows air charter customers to assess performance expectations against recognised industry best operating practices before purchasing air charter services.

AirSprint is proud to receive our Wyvern Wingman certification. We have always treated every flight as an opportunity to demonstrate and improve our exemplary level of safety, and working through the Flight Leader programme with a Wyvern coach has taken us to the next level. We look forward to our ongoing participation with Wyvern as safety remains our top priority and one of our core values,” says president and CEO James Elian.

Wyvern Wingman operators are evaluated by the Wingman standard criteria. The scope of the evaluation includes an assessment of operational activities, review on the company's operational history and safety records, safety management system (SMS), internal evaluation programme, administrative compositions, technical documentation, pilot and aircraft records, training requirements and maintenance operations including technician training and experience.

“We are proud to announce that AirSprint is a Wingman operator. Conforming to the Wyvern Wingman standard is a testament to an organisation's culture and commitment to safety,” says CEO Sonnie Bates.
