Kanata Training selects AL250 simulator
The Canada-based company has bought its first Alsim device, the best simulator to compliment its fleet of Diamond DA20 training aircraft. It will support initial training as well as its IFR and multi IFR programmes.
The AL250 simulator addresses initial phase training needs and is an SEP/MEP re-configurable simulator certified as an EASA FNPT II and TC Level 2 IPC.

High River airport, Alberta-based Kanata Aviation Training has bought an Alsim AL250 simulator. This will be the flight school's first Alsim device.

The AL250 simulator addresses initial phase training needs (PPL, CPL, IR/ME) and is a SEP/MEP re-configurable simulator certified as an EASA FNPT II and TC Level 2 IPC. In addition, it offers both classic and glass cockpit instrumentation for each flight model at the simple flick of a switch. This device has been extremely well received since its creation, and more than 65 of these have already been installed and are in successful operation worldwide.

"The addition of the Alsim AL250 will make a significant contribution to our students and the provision we offer, together with continuing our goal of providing consistent and quality training," says chief flight instructor Gigi Shamba. The Alsim will not only support our initial training provision but will extensively underpin our IFR and multi IFR programmes. The installation is set to coincide with the opening of our new purpose-built facility at the High River airport, and we are naturally very excited."

Alsim's Dr Scott Firsing adds: “We are pleased to welcome Kanata Aviation Training to the Alsim family. The new AL250 simulator will help provide consistency and quality in its training. We are excited to see the superb pilots Kanata produces.”
