All successful charter companies know that no two clients are the same and that the ability to provide aviation solutions for any need is what sets them apart. That's what Luxembourg-based charter company Luxaviation has done with its fleet of Cessna Citation jets, opening the skies to serve entrepreneurs, businesses, entertainers, world-leaders and leisure guests.

“We have over 50 Textron Aviation products currently in operations; basically the whole past and present Citation line,” says president of aviation services Robert Fisch. “The Citation jet line has been incredibly reliable and economical to run, and the clients just love them.”

Luxaviation, part of Luxaviation Group, encounters a myriad of missions from its charter clients and, thus far, has always had a Citation jet to suit the need. The company says its Cessna Citation CJ2+ jet is the ideal companion for a hunting trip to Scandinavia, the Cessna Citation CJ4 jet is proven to be a great family mover between Brussels and St Tropez for holiday and the Cessna Citation M2 has been the perfect solution for quick Paris to London trips for business meetings.

“The whole line is a tailor-made solution for many quests,” adds Fisch.

Being in the process of adding the M2 Gen2 aircraft to its charter fleet, Luxaviation says it is able to level up its ability to fit the jet to the mission with increased comfort, design and technology. Speaking about the M2 Gen2 aircraft specifically, Fisch says: “It has the right size for inner European trips and day returns. The enhancements done on the cabin are a further improvement to an already very well-designed cabin.”

The Gen2 aircraft is the first of Textron's most recent model in Europe. It will be based with Luxaviation France at Paris Le Bourget airport, and features technology and design enhancements that deliver state-of-the art customer experience. It combines performance, comfort, design, ease of operation, range of mission capabilities, lower fuel consumption and restricted noise footprint.

Luxaviation Group CEO Patrick Hansen says: “In its longstanding commitment to excellence, Luxaviation commits to always concentrate on guests' experience aboard our aircraft and the highest quality of service. With this Cessna Citation M2 Gen2 joining our charter fleet, Luxaviation continues its mission to provide an unmatched charter experience with fast and comfortable transport and covering any need.”

The M2 Gen2 has an enhanced cabin with premium interior styling, ambient accent lighting, satellite communication and wireless charging. It features comfortable seating for up to five passengers.

Luxaviation France managing director Karol Guérémy says: “The addition of this new Cessna Citation M2 Gen2 will provide access to a new client base out of our Paris base where we offer FBO, aircraft charter and management. The Cessna Citation M2 Gen2 will be able to cover a large part of Western Europe with its ability to land in restricted destinations, like London City or Cannes.”

Fisch continues: “Adding a brand-new cabin like the M2 Gen 2 is definitely of higher interest to our charter clients,” he continues. “We are using our Citation fleet extensively on every continent, and they are very reliable aircraft. Customers enjoy them, and the pilots like the systems and handling characteristics. The performance is exactly what we need.

“Our relationship with Textron Aviation is now several decades old as we share the same passion for enhancing customer experience. We are looking forward to welcoming the Gen2 evolution of not only the Citation M2, but also the Citation CJ4 Gen2, in early summer.”
