Italian trainer makes double entrol acquisition
Air Corporate is expanding its training department with the acquisition of two FTD Level 3 simulators. Pilots can now qualify on H125 and H145 helicopters.

Italy-based rotary operator Air Corporate has completed its purchase of two entrol FTD Level 3 simulators based on the Airbus H125 and H145 helicopters.

“The purchase of these two flight simulators allows our company to share experience and training expertise with both company and external pilots," says crew training manager Roberto Barsotti. "Our training experience on helicopters is not limited to the Italian geographical area alone, but has developed in different operational and environmental areas and adapted to the different professional backgrounds of pilots. In order to carry out training for pilots of government organisations such as the border police and presidential crew in Georgia and the police in Albania, as well as to operate abroad, we have been approved and certified by several CAAs.”

With bases in Rome, Milan, Rimini and Verona, Air Corporate has accumulated more than 35,000 flight hours in more than 60,000 different missions.

Both simulators will feature the latest entrol technology, including a spherical visual system, vibration system, high-resolution database, formation flying and mission scenarios.

"We are glad to keep expanding our FTD Level 3 simulator portfolio. These devices will play a critical role in the industry due to their versatility for proficiency checks, type rating and mission training," says entrol head of sales Nacho Navacerrada.
