entrol has obtained the letter of approval (LOA), based on FAA regulations, for its H1000 AATD simulator, making it able to certify the simulator from the factory. Valid until February 2029, the LOA will provide operators with confidence in entrol's long-term viability and compliance with regulatory standards.

This unit features a cockpit based on the Bell 505 helicopter, complete with a replica of the Garmin G1000 avionics suite developed by entrol. Designed for single-seat operation with the option for a co-pilot seat, the simulator provides an immersive training experience tailored to meet the diverse needs of helicopter pilots and offers unparalleled realism, versatility and customisation options.

One of the standout features of the H1000 AATD simulator is its advanced visual system, which provides both TV-based and cylindrical projection with a field of view of 200ºx40º. Additionally, the simulator's extensive database allows clients to personalise their training scenarios according to their specific requirements.

In addition to its core features, this simulator model also counts on a wide range of optional enhancements, including the vibration system and expanded visual capabilities.

Already, two units of the H1000 AATD simulator have been installed at the US Training Center in Dothan, Alabama, where they are being used by the US Army to train cadets and prepare future helicopter pilots for their aviation careers. Two more units are slated for installation in the facilities of another entrol client.
