Air-to-ground inflight connectivity provider SmartSky Networks has appointed Western Jet Aviation as a sales and installation provider for its advanced shipsets at Western Jet's Van Nuys airport facility in California.

Director of MRO account management Aria Bahawdory says: “Western Jet Aviation joins SmartSky at an opportune time. Its expertise with Gulfstream aircraft, coupled with available STCs and full CONUS coverage for flight hours next quarter, will provide Gulfstream owners and operators with an inflight connectivity solution that meets the needs of cabin, crew and operators alike.”

Aviation maintenance and modification company Western Jet Aviation plans to sell and install SmartSky's flagship equipment, including aircraft antennas and aircraft base radios (ABR).
