Alsim packs ALX off to EPAG flight school
EPAG has renewed its trust in ALSIM with the purchase of a second simulator, an ALX. The French flight school made its choice based on a combination of flexibility, versatility and cost efficiency.
EPAG NG has ordered a fourth simulator, an Alsim ALX.

Merville, France-based training centre EPAG NG has purchased an ALX simulator from long time partner Alsim. The flight school has been operating an AL42 simulator, an exact replica of the DA42 aircraft, for almost 10 years.

EPAG co-director Sebastien Hugault says: “Currently EPAG NG has three simulators, including an Alsim AL42. As part of the modernisation process and the MCC training launch, reactor transition and airline selection, EPAG NG has chosen to renew its confidence in its French partner Alsim by choosing the ALX. Flexibility, versatility and cost efficiency were the determining factors in the choice of the ALX.”

The Alsim ALX provides up to four classes of aircraft, from single engine piston, twin engine piston, twin turbine up to medium category twin jet. The device is designed and approved for ATPL, CPL and MCC in compliance with all current regulatory standards. The ALX offers advanced technology simulation equipment tailored to all specific training requirements. In addition, it has a proven track record for cost-effectiveness and helps save numerous aircraft hours.

Alsim sales account manager Nicolas Fabries adds: “We are excited to bring our collaboration with EPAG NG one step further with the delivery of this ALX, in complement to the AL42 which it has been using for nearly 10 years. We want to thank the EPAG NG management team for their renewed confidence in our simulators and services."
