Western on to a winner with avionics man McKenna
A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Patrick McKenna served as an avionics collateral duty quality assurance representative and avionics technician, and as an avionics instructor evaluator and training specialist.
In 2014 McKenna accepted an avionics tech position with Gulfstream Aerospace's Long Beach, California service centre.

Western Aircraft, a Greenwich AeroGroup company based in Boise, Idaho, has hired Patrick McKenna as its avionics manager. McKenna has more than 15 years of aviation experience, specifically with technical training, troubleshooting and aircraft repair. In his new role with Western, his primary responsibilities will include day-to-day operations of the avionics department, as well as avionics integration, installation, coordination of certification with engineering and customer service.

A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he served as an avionics collateral duty quality assurance representative and avionics technician, and as an avionics instructor evaluator and master training specialist. In 2014, he accepted an avionics tech position with Gulfstream Aerospace's Long Beach, California, service centre and within two years was promoted to a senior avionics technician. He most recently served there as an avionics systems specialist.

McKenna is FlightSafety trained in several areas including Planeview avionics advanced troubleshooting, integrated cabin management systems and Aero IT.
