West Star closes deal with Klose to lead satellite work
Sharon Klose has 30 years of industry experience, having held the role of senior sales/service engine manager at Duncan Aviation for more than 10 years. She arrives at West Star to direct satellite/MRT and engines.
Sharon Klose says her work has been rewarding and challenging over the past year.

US MRO specialist West Star Aviation has promoted Sharon Klose to director of satellite/MRT and engines. Since 2017, Klose has been director of engine programme development and took over managing the AOG/MRT teams early last year.

In her new leadership role, she will continue to further elevate the customer experience and drive the company's customer-centric culture, while continuing to manage engine programme development and AOG/MRT services. She will lead West Star's highly trained and experienced satellite technicians to aid in troubleshooting maintenance concerns and providing solutions that are best suited to help its customers get back in the air as quickly as possible. Prior to joining West Star Aviation, Klose held the role of senior sales/service engine manager at Duncan Aviation for more than 10 years.

West Star Aviation's satellite locations are based at five business aviation airports across the United States, including Chicago Executive airport in Chicago, Illinois; Centennial airport in Denver, Colorado; Conroe-North Houston Regional airport in Houston, Texas; Scottsdale airport in Scottsdale, Arizona; and Minneapolis St Paul International in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Each facility is staffed independently with full technical and personnel support.

“We are thrilled to expand Sharon's role within West Star Aviation. Her promotion is a testament to her 30 years of industry experience and solid leadership skills,” says Jim Rankin, CEO. “Sharon's strong background in business aircraft support will be an asset to the satellite facilities as she works to maintain overall customer satisfaction and keep West Star a top choice for our customers.”

“The past year working with our MRT teams has been both rewarding and challenging,” Klose adds. “The level of service and work ethic this team produces is unsurpassed in our industry. I am truly excited for the opportunities to facilitate the upcoming growth of the MRT/satellites and engine programme.”
