MAC reliever airports supported 342,000 operations in 2022, a little under the 2021 total. In the past five years, more than $50 million has been invested to provide a safe, efficient and modern system.
The MAC's six general aviation reliever airports relieve congestion that would otherwise impact Minneapolis’ international airport. Last year saw a resurgence in business, leisure and educational flights.
