Wyvern seizes the Day with new COO appointment
As COO, Andrew Day will provide leadership for the Wyvern audit programme, Flight Leader programme, software development team, customer support team and the education programme. He is a stickler for quality.
Andrew Day will ensure that Wyvern remains aligned with ISO 9000 quality principles.

Aviation safety risk management and training organisation Wyvern has appointed Andrew Day as COO, effective 1 January 2021. In this role, he will lead all Wyvern operations to ensure they remain aligned with ISO 9000 quality principles, a certification that Wyvern recently achieved thanks to Day's leadership and the Wyvern team's commitment to core values, which include excellence.

As COO, Day will provide leadership for the Wyvern audit programme, Flight Leader programme, software development team, customer support team and the education programme, which includes the safety leader training course, SMS training for aviation professionals, and CRM refresher course.

“Andy's promotion to COO will allow me to focus on expanding our global strategic alliances while leading our marketing and sales teams as we continue to add unique and significant value for our clients around the world,” says CEO Sonnie Bates.

Wyvern's mission is to elevate safety and security worldwide, and its vision is focused on ensuring that every operator has an effective SMS. It does this by offering SMS implementation support, operational support, training, coaching, SMS software, operational safety data and auditing services.
