Tamarack builds on European presence with Oxford base
A new Tamarack Aerospace installation centre has been established at London Oxford, in partnership with JMI - Jet Maintenance International. It will carry out Active Winglet installations and boost Tamarack's sales and marketing efforts.
The first two customer installations at Oxford are set to begin at the end of this month.

Tamarack Aerospace has opened a European installation centre based at London Oxford airport in the UK. The Tamarack European installation centre will function seven days a week to expedite Active Winglet installations and reduced supply-chain lead times, as well as supplement sales and marketing efforts in collaboration with existing Tamarack authorised dealers across Europe.

“We are very excited to be expanding into Europe, strengthening the business and being able to offer the same high level of service that our customers in the USA love so much,” says CEO Nick Guida. “After a short period of building experience, our goal is to offer customers installations in just one week, which will be of significant benefit to mainly the charter market that exists here. Tamarack has chosen JMI - Jet Maintenance International at as a valued partner for our Tamarack European headquarters.”

The European centre will operate independently out of the Oxford JMI - Jet Maintenance International facility. “We have had a great relationship with Tamarack Aerospace for a number of years, and love its innovative Active Winglet product,” adds Ed Griffith, director at JMI. “We already carry out a range of maintenance services on Citation 525 series aircraft at our brand new state-of-the-art 18,000 sq ft facility, so this partnership is a great fit for us and our customers.”

The first two customer installations are set to begin in late July 2020.
