Professione Volare revisits Alsim for simulator
A good pilot is always in training according to Professione Volare, and from its base at Forli airport in northern Italy it is now in a position to upgrade its course offering having purchased an ALX from Alsim.
Alsim sales account manager Nicolas de Lassus with Professione Volare chief of flight instructors Emanuela Brandone, accountable manager and head of training captain Cesare Montefiori and head of training, planning secretary and quality auditor Alessandra Ricci.

Alsim has sold an Alsim ALX simulator to approved training organisation Professione Volare in Forli, Italy, whose owner, captain Montefiori, says: “At the end of 2019, for our 25th anniversary, we decided to upgrade our fleet by buying our own simulator. For us, the ALX simulator is the best solution available in the market.”

He lists the benefits for the company, saying that the high tech, user friendly simulator ensures easy immersion for both trainee and instructor and permits a high level of training. The instructor station is immediately comfortable so that the instructor can be ready to work straight away, and the remote connection system allows Alsim technicians to take control of customer equipment using a secure VPN connection. Alsim offers continuous support and assistance is guaranteed.

“With our new ALX we will be also able to upgrade the training to offer the APS-MCC course,” he concludes.

Alsim sales account manager Nicolas de Lassus adds: “Professione Volare has been using an Alsim AL200 MCC for over 15 years through our customer ISAERS. The company decided to make this acquisition to offer its students a new simulator with state-of-the-art technology and we look forward to installing the simulator in Forli.”
