Nomad provides AOG for Global XRS windshield
Nomad Technics successfully provided AOG support to an operator of a Bombardier Global XRS by replacing a broken windshield at EuroAirport in Basel, Switzerland.
Before installation of the right front windshield.

Late evening just recently Nomad Technics received an AOG call from a customer whose Bombardier Global XRS had a defective front windshield. The team started immediately with the order of the required parts, and after the arrival of the aircraft the next morning the engineers instantly removed the right front windshield and prepared the aircraft for the installation.

After the receipt of replacement parts, their installation and successful pressure testing of the aircraft's cabin, Nomad Technics handed over the jet to the client on time. “We are proud that we have completed the AOG event on the Bombardier Global XRS with an extremely short reaction time,” says supervisor Bombardier aircraft Kai Dannath.

“Thanks to the flexibility of the engineers and the short communication channels we could rectify the AOG event to the full satisfaction of the customer. He was able to use his aircraft after a short downtime,” adds VP and general manager Roman Hug.
