C&L celebrates 25 years in parts
From a basement in Australia, C&L's quarter century journey has taken it to one-stop-shop corporate headquarters in America. The global aviation services and aftermarket support provider has much to celebrate.

C&L Aviation Group, a global aviation services and aftermarket support provider for regional and corporate aircraft, is celebrating its 25 year anniversary. The company started with humble beginnings in 1994 and is now a one stop solution for customers all over the world, specialising in parts, support programmes, maintenance, aircraft refurbishment, aircraft engineering, modifications and aircraft sales and re-marketing.

“The last 25 years have held plenty of challenges, but it's humbling to have so many amazing people here who are so dedicated and are continually striving to satisfy our customers,” says CEO Chris Kilgour.

Kilgour started the company from his basement in Brisbane, Australia selling aircraft parts to the Australian Air Force, before making a name for the company in the Saab 340 aftermarket parts business. In 2010 he expanded into maintenance with the acquisition of Telford Aviation in Bangor, Maine. Since then the company has grown to over 250 employees with warehouses and sales office around the world and a 140,000 sq ft facility in Bangor. It now offers parts and services on many aircraft types, both corporate and regional, and specialises in ERJ 135/145, ATR 42/72, Saab 340, Dash-8, CRJ 200/700, Challenger 601-604, Hawker 800, Beechjet 400 and Citations.

“We have experienced exceptional growth over the last few years and plan on maintaining that as we continue to build our vertically integrated aviation company,” adds Kilgour.

C&L Aviation Group, headquartered in Bangor, Maine and with international offices in Australia, Singapore and Europe, is an FAA and EASA approved industry leader in servicing, maintaining and supporting operators in the corporate and regional aviation industry. In addition to aircraft and engine sales and leasing programs, the company offers parts support, heavy maintenance, interior refurbishment, aircraft teardown, disassembly services and aircraft management.
