Babcock awards Scandinavian contract to Proptech
Babcock Scandinavian AirAmbulance is the Nordic region's largest ambulance airline company. It has awarded a contract for propeller maintenance to UK-based Proptech.
Babcock is entrusting propeller maintenance of its air ambulance fleet to Proptech.

Babcock has selected Proptech Aero, a Segers Group company based at Solent airport in Hampshire, UK, to provide a multi-year propeller maintenance service. This programme will support a fleet of King Air 250 aircraft used by Babcock Scandinavian AirAmbulance.

Proptech was awarded this contract after a comprehensive, competitive bid. The package includes cost per flight hour maintenance and the provision of spare propeller assemblies. Additionally, the operator will benefit from Proptech's expertise in terms of engineering excellence, logistics and field support.

Proptech's hourly programmes are utilised by customers around the world and each one is adapted to the specific needs of the operator. The company has been a leader in propeller maintenance since the 1960s and holds OEM approvals from Hartzell, McCauley, MT and Sensenich. Proptech is a globally recognised provider of maintenance for Hamilton Sundstrand composite propellers fitted to ATR, Dash 8 and other regional aircraft.
