US general manager Best ready for the test
Incoming senior VP and general manager of Jet Aviation's US ops David Best has already been responsible for a number of successes at the company, including the acquisition and integration of Hawker Pacific.
David Best has moved up the Jet Aviation ranks to become SVP and GM of the company's regional US operations.

Jet Aviation has appointed David Best as SVP and general manager of its regional operations in the US, effective 1 July. He succeeds David Paddock, who was recently announced as the new president of the Jet Aviation Group.

Best joined Jet Aviation in January 2017 and was responsible for a number of successful business development projects, most notably the acquisition and integration of Hawker Pacific and the recent stake in Scottsdale Jet Center. He assumed his current role as SVP of strategic global growth in December 2018, and has made significant progress in aligning the sales organisation and improving the group's customer data management.

“With more than 30 years' experience in commercial and aviation roles, including 10 years leading large organisations in the FBO, airport ground handling and aviation service sectors, I am confident David will further drive the successful growth of the US region by focusing on customer engagement, advancing our US operations and living our values,” says Paddock. “I wish him and the US leadership team every continued success.”

Best will be based in Teterboro, New Jersey.
