PWI names Texan authorised installation centres
PWI is strengthening its Texas footprint by conferring official authorised partner status on local companies B&G Aviation and Fieldtech Avionics & Instruments.

US lighting and manufacturing services provider PWI has signed authorised installation centre agreements with two Texas-based companies; B&G Aviation and Fieldtech Avionics & Instruments.

Over the past 12 years, B&G Aviation has provided maintenance and repair services for Cessna, Beechcraft and Piper aircraft lines, specialising in King Airs, from its 25,000 sq ft of hangar space. It also offers phase inspections, annual and hot section inspections that can mitigate costly repairs by detecting engine issues in the early stages.

Fort Worth-based Fieldtech has more than 40 years of history in repairs as well as aircraft and avionics sales. It is an FAA/EASA approved repair station (#3WR1R594K) and has an extensive list of over 35,000 different parts. In addition it continues to update its repair capabilities daily to meet the needs of its customers and is also a trusted dealer for Rockwell, Garmin, Telephonics, Freeflight Systems and Avidyne.

Since starting out, PWI has grown from coil winding to include a diverse range of aircraft lighting products and more. It manufactures several interior lights for Beechcraft King Air aircraft and has the in-house ability to design, engineer and manufacture all types of electrical assemblies, electronics contract manufacturing, magnetometers and customised LED lighting solutions.
