C&L Aviation makes avionics appointment
Aircraft have been going for maintenance to C&L's 140,000 sq ft Bangor International facility for more than 20 years. The company hires the most knowledgeable people in their field and the latest recruit is Charlie Carroll.
Charlie Carroll joins C&L Aviation Group as avionics sales manager.

Maine, US-based aviation services and aftermarket support provider C&L Aviation Group has appointed Charlie Carroll as avionics sales manager, to oversee avionics installation sales for large cabin business jets and regional aircraft while also guiding systems integration and programme management. He will particularly be concerned with ADS-B solutions, cabin management systems, wi-fi connectivity, FANS-1A, SBAS-flight management systems cockpit upgrades and controller-pilot data link communications.

Carroll has over 35 years of industry experience and was previously director of sales with Precision Aircraft Services and the US southeast region marketing manager for Universal Avionics.

“Charlie is well known throughout the industry with a reputation for helping customers meet their avionics needs,” says CEO Chris Kilgour. “C&L provides robust avionics solutions for our customers through our many dealerships, for cockpits within the retrofit market as well as the up and coming FAA mandates for ADS-B, FANS-1A and other offerings. Charlie will be instrumental in providing the right solution for each customer.”

Carroll is experienced in electrical and avionics installations and has knowledge of multiple systems such as autopilots, electronic flight instrument systems, EGPWS/TAWS, ADS-B, FANS-1A, TCAS, FMS and integrated cabin management systems.
