Ross Aviation completes acquisition of Rectrix
Rectrix Aviation has a chain of five FBO facilities, as well as charter and maintenance operations. Now the company has come under the wing of FBO entrepreneur Jeff Ross.
Jeff Ross is expanding the Ross Aviation footprint on the east coast of the US with the acquisition of the Rectrix FBOs.

US FBO network Ross Aviation has acquired New England and Florida FBO provider Rectrix Aviation. Founded in 2005, Rectrix Aviation has five FBOs located in Boston, Worcester, Westfield and Hyannis in Massachusetts as well as Sarasota, Florida. The company also operates a Part 135 air charter and management business and has MRO facilities in Westfield and Sarasota.

“Rectrix Aviation has done an excellent job of providing customers with luxury facilities and exceptional customer service. We are excited to expand the Ross Aviation footprint on the east coast and believe the Rectrix locations will be complementary to our existing portfolio,” says Ross Aviation president and CEO Jeff Ross.

Rectrix will retain its branding and customers can expect continuity in quality and service across the FBOs, charter service, commuter airline and MRO facilities.

Ross Aviation's executive team brings over 100 years of experience to each of its locations, partnering with trusted local management at every FBO. The company embraces the uniqueness of each airport and FBO market, and supports a decentralised system whereby managers are granted authority and responsibility to operate and optimise their business based upon the unique market conditions of each specific location. This approach, coupled with strong relationships with the local airport authorities, should ensure a seamless transition upon acquisition.

Ross Aviation currently owns and operates 16 FBOs located at Ted Stevens Anchorage International airport, Fairbanks International airport, Fresno Yosemite International airport, Westchester County airport, Long Beach Daugherty Field, Scottsdale Municipal airport, Jacqueline Cochran Municipal airport, Owen Roberts International airport and Charles Kirkconnell International airport as well as the Rectrix locations.

Jeff Ross is an FBO industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience. During this time he has owned and operated a total of 37 FBOs.
