ACC Aviation Group launches US subsidiary
Following a record year across all divisions in 2018, UK-headquartered ACC Aviation is adding New York to its Rome, Dubai and Kuala Lumpur footholds.

Continuing the momentum from its recent expansion into Malaysia, UK-headquartered ACC Aviation Group has opened a US subsidiary, ACC Aviation Inc. The North American business will be based out of a new office in New York and the team will be headed up by Jamie Harris, who re-joins ACC following tenures at both Air Charter Service and Chapman Freeborn. The move comes on the back of a record 2018 across its charter broker, ACMI leasing and aircraft interiors aftermarket divisions.

CEO Phil Mathews comments: “As part of our strategy to expand our global network of offices, I am delighted to announce that on 7 January we launched our US subsidiary. The office's primary focus will be to enhance ACC's global foothold within the aircraft charter market, utilising our extensive experience in arranging large charter programmes for a broad range of industries including corporate and government entities, tour operators and professional sports teams, to better serve clients in the region. Additionally, our new base in New York will allow us to further develop our supplier relationships and aircraft leasing opportunities in the Americas.”

On the appointment of Harris he continues: “I am pleased to welcome Jamie, who returns to ACC having worked here in the early days of what was then Air Charter Connections. He has a proven track record within the aircraft charter market in the UK and US and I am confident that he will prove to be an asset to the organisation and instrumental in our international growth plans.”

Harris adds: “I am excited to be returning to ACC at such a pivotal time in the organisation's journey. I look forward to working with everyone again and to helping ACC expand its global presence and further enhance the company's international reputation as one of the world's leading aviation service providers.”
