Nomad adds business jet base maintenance in Basel
Nomad Technics can offer hangarage to aircraft up to 737 size. Previously it was approved for line maintenance on a range of Embraer, Bombardier and Cessna types, and base maintenance has now been added.
Nomad Technics is now authorised to perform base maintenance on Embraer, Bombardier and Cessna business jets.

Nomad Technics, the maintenance division of Nomad Aviation, has received an EASA Part 145 maintenance organisation approval certificate to perform full base maintenance in addition to its existing line maintenance approval for its Basel, Switzerland, facility.

Nomad is an EASA Part 145 approved organisation authorised to perform work on Embraer, Bombardier and Cessna aircraft, including Embraer 135, Legacy 600 and 650, Bombardier Challenger 604, 605, 650, 800, 850, CRJ 100, Global Express, Global Express XRS, Global 5000, 6000 and Cessna CJ1, CJ2 and CJ3.

The company occupies a dedicated 400 sqm maintenance hangar together with 7,000 sqm of additional ramp space at the International EuroAirport in Basel, Switzerland. Nomad Technics also offers hangarage services for aircraft up to the size of the Boeing 737 series and the Airbus A320 family.

“We are excited that we have been awarded the EASA maintenance organisation approval, which is a great expansion of our range of business aviation services,” says executive chairman Heinz Koehli.

Director of maintenance and CAMO Roman Hug adds: "We are looking forward to welcoming operators of Embraer, Bombardier and Cessna aircraft at our facility to maintain their assets and to build relationships with industry partners."
