Jet Aviation has received FAA supplemental type certification for ADS-B Out compliance for the B747 series aircraft following EASA approval in August this year.

ADS-B Out systems provide digital surveillance data that enhances situational awareness. Subject to specific equipment configurations, this approval authorises Jet Aviation's MRO and completions facility in Basel to configure and install ADS-B Out systems on N-registered B747 aircraft.

As private jets are required to fly in ADS-B airspace, we are very pleased to extend this service offering to owners and operators of Boeing B747 aircraft.”
