C&L adds lightweight smoke hoods
Over the last year C&L has introduced many new product lines with distributorship agreements with CSI, Garmin, Champion and Securaplane SLA Batteries. Now it becomes agent for Essex Industries’ smoke hoods.

US aviation supply company C&L Aerospace has signed an agreement with Missouri, US-based Essex Industries to serve as a distributor for its smoke hoods, designed for use on all aircraft types. This new offering provides C&L customers with a product that is light-weight, versatile and runs on compressed oxygen, which is easier to transport.

The FAA and EASA-approved smoke hoods have a 10-and-a-half-year shelf life and come with an end-of-service indicator light in every unit. They can be shipped overnight air freight and contain oxygen cylinders as opposed to chemical oxygen generators. There are multiple stowage options making them practical for all aircraft types.

Senior VP of sales Martin Cooper says: “We continue to add value for our customers by securing distributorships such as this one that provide our operators with many cost-saving options for their aircraft maintenance requirements.”
