Nomad extends its maintenance capabilities
Nomad engineers have their eyes on ever larger aircraft, as their maintenance services are extended to cover some Airbus and Boeing types. Global and Legacy capability was added in October.
Already approved for work on the CitationJet and Challenger series, Nomad Technics added the Global and Legacy 600 series to its capabilities in October.

Under its Nomad Technics brand, Nomad Aviation has been offering maintenance and hangarage services at its Basel, Switzerland, facility since August this year. The company occupies a 7,400 sq m heated hangar together with 7,000 sq m ramp space at the international EuroAirport in Basel.

The EASA Part 145 approved organisation has been providing maintenance inspections and non-routine repair work on Citation 525 and Bombardier Challenger series aircraft, and from October has also made line and base maintenance available for Bombardier Global, Global XRS, Global 6000 and Embraer Legacy 600 and 650 business jets. In addition the company offers AOG 24/7 support.

At the beginning of 2019 maintenance capabilities will be extended to the A320 family and Boeing 737 series, and hangarage and/or ramp space will be offered for overnight parking or on a long-term contract basis. In addition storage areas for customer parts and equipment are available.

Executive chairman Heinz Koehli says: “By adding maintenance and hangarage to our existing aircraft management and charter services we can offer our clients a one-stop solution for their mobility.”
