Cedar sets out stall with Legacy 500 for Lebanese charter
Cedar Executive, a subsidiary of the MEA Group in the Lebanon, has taken delivery of its first Legacy 500. The nine-seat super midsize jet is available for charter throughout EMEA, with the capability to cruise at 45,000 ft and Mach 0.82 over a range of 3,150 nm.

"The Legacy 500 brings the comfort, technology and performance that will enable us to offer customers a premium travel experience," says CEO Fouad Fawaz. "The onboard features and amenities make this aircraft the ideal charter jet for our market and our customers. We can fly direct from Beirut to London City with it."

The aircraft has a cabin altitude of 6,000 ft and a six-foot flat floor cabin. Wi-fi, satcom, HD video and surround sound are all available. For the crew, the L500 has digital flight controls, based on fly-by-wire technology and featuring side sticks. Its Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics suite has four 19-inch LCD displays for graphical flight planning, along with paperless ops capability, auto brakes, and E2VS vision system.
