UK-based Bristow Helicopters has received the last of its order for seven S-92 helicopters for search and rescue. There are now 11 S-92 helicopters available for use by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency for the UK SAR mission; four began operations in June 2013.

“The S-92 is proven in maritime and mountainous environments. Since April 2015, more than 100 people have been assisted in the UK by S-92s in our fleet,” says SAR director Samantha Willenbacher.
