Aston Harald AB, a Swedish corporation located in Hönö outside Gothenburg, has taken delivery of the 550th Piper Meridian courtesy of European Aircraft Sales in Denmark, the official dealer for Piper in Scandinavia and the Baltic.

Håkan Svensson, company ceo, accepted the delivery of what will be his first aircraft, in a ceremony at Piper's Vero Beach headquarters. His company is engaged in the manufacture of competitive M32CUP catamarans. He is currently pursuing his pilot's license and plans to use the aircraft in his business and for personal flying. A professional pilot will operate the aircraft until he achieves sufficient ratings and experience to perform as pilot in command in European airspace.

The Piper Meridian was chosen by Svensson for its low fuel burn and acquisition cost.
