Lauda reduces downtime with hourly cost engine support
Formula One racing icon and airline entrepreneur Niki Lauda has enrolled the engines and APU of his newly delivered Global 5000 on to hourly cost maintenance programmes provided by JSSI.

Formula One racing icon and airline entrepreneur Niki Lauda has enrolled the engines and APU of his newly delivered Global 5000 on to hourly cost maintenance programmes provided by JSSI.

"I am on the move all the time and always looking for services that can help minimise my downtime and keep me moving, so JSSI makes perfect sense to me," he says. "It provides us with a predictable maintenance budget, and the JSSI technical services team acts as our advocate to make sure we get back in the air as quickly as possible whenever there is an engine or APU maintenance issue," adds Lauda.

A three-time Formula One world champion and former Jaguar Formula One racing team manager, Lauda is also a dedicated aviator who has piloted and owned several business jets.

JSSI's Platinum programme for Lauda's BR710 engines provides comprehensive coverage for scheduled engine maintenance, while delivering budget stability and peace of mind from any unexpected maintenance costs. It also includes supplemental lift coverage, which addresses concerns regarding the availability of the limited rental engine pool for these BR710 engine models. In the event that a JSSI client experiences an AOG situation or has scheduled maintenance requiring a BR710 rental engine, JSSI will cover certain aircraft charter costs if rental engines are not available.

JSSI recently acquired two BR710A2-20 engines to loan out whenever off-wing engine repairs or overhauls are required by its clients.
