Embraer Executive Jets has named Germany based Atlas Air Service as an authorized service center for its midsize Legacy 450/500 aircraft.

The agreement expands the scope of Atlas Air Service's existing offerings. Atlas is already authorized to provide line and base maintenance for Phenom 100, Phenom 300 and Legacy 600/650 aircraft. The maintenance provider also operates a Legacy 450 as part of the company's fleet, the first company in Germany to operate the full fly-by-wire aircraft in a charter role.

Embraer´s business jets benefit from the long-term proven production methods and technology of its commercial airliners, for instance in terms of aerodynamics and fly-by-wire-technology.

Embraer Executive Jets recently secured first position for the second year in row in Pro Pilot Magazine's Corporate Aircraft Product Support Survey. The 8.58 overall scores, the highest in 26 years of this research, confirm the company on the top of the two most important specialized surveys in the industry. Embraer also soared to its first-ever solo number one ranking in Aviation International News' 2016 Product Support Survey, receiving its highest-ever combined overall average (8.4 out of a possible 10) for new and pre-flown business jets.
