Bell Helicopter and Textron Aviation announce joint appearance at Aero Friedrichshafen

Bell Helicopter and Textron Aviation Inc., businesses of Textron Inc., have announced their joint participation this week at the global general aviation tradeshow, AERO Friedrichshafen, from April 15-18 in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

Subject matter experts from Bell Helicopter and Textron Aviation will be available at Booth A3-127 to discuss a broad range of commercial and general aviation capabilities.

Inside the Expo Hall, Bell Helicopter is showcasing the Bell 505 for the first time in Germany. The aircraft is configured for vip/corporate transport and feature a Garmin G1000H™ state-of-the-art glass cockpit.

“As our customer base expands in Europe, we continue to invest and introduce our modernized product line to the region,” said Jakub Hoda, Bell Helicopter's vice president and managing director of sales in Europe. “Attending Aero Friedrichshafen gives us the opportunity to engage with our customers.”

Bell Helicopter along with independent representative, Atlas Air is also displaying the Bell 429 in vip/corporate configuration on static display.

Textron Aviation will display the Cessna Skyhawk JT-A and Cessna TTx inside the Expo Hall as well as a broad range of its aircraft on static display including the Beechcraft Baron and King Air 350i and the Cessna Grand Caravan EX, Citation M2 and Citation CJ4.

“The Beechcraft and Cessna aircraft on display at Aero Friedrichshafen represent the various product lines available in Europe that meet a broad range of general aviation requirements,” said Tom Perry, Textron Aviation's vice president, European sales.

AERO Friedrichshafen will host more than 630 exhibitors from nearly 35 countries, presenting the industry's latest innovations in one of the world's most modern exhibition centers.
