FlightSafety expands maintenance technician training for Gulfstream aircraft in China through cooperative agreement with Lufthansa HNA Technical Training

FlightSafety International has announced the expansion of its Gulfstream aircraft maintenance training programs in China through a cooperative agreement with Lufthansa HNA Technical Training. The training will be offered in Haikou and Xi'an, China. It will also support maintenance technicians based in Hong Kong, Macau, Mongolia, and Taiwan.

“FlightSafety is pleased to expand the training it provides for maintenance technicians who support Gulfstream aircraft based in China and the surrounding region,” said Mike Lee, director maintenance training, business development.

The courses will be provided by Lufthansa HNA Technical Training's FlightSafety trained instructors. It will initially include theoretical and practical maintenance training for the Gulfstream G550, Gulfstream G450, and Gulfstream G200 aircraft. The training will be approved by regulatory agencies as required.

In addition to training the instructors, FlightSafety will provide all courseware and the company's MATRIX Integrated training system. MATRIX is an innovative suite of flight training tools that draw upon the same software that drives FlightSafety's Level D qualified flight simulators. It includes graphical flight-deck simulators that provide interactive representations of the aircraft's flight-deck on touch-screen monitors that enables users to monitor or perform virtually all the functions that would be performed in the aircraft. It also includes desktop simulators designed for instructor-led or self-paced instruction in the classroom. This interactive PC based training system is used to demonstrate and learn the function and control of aircraft systems.
