CHC Brazil begins operations from a new hangar at the airport as it secures four new contracts with Petrobras at the Santos Basin. It is bringing in four Sikorsky S-92A to support crew change flights.

CHC Brazil is awarded first place in Petrobras PEOTRAM for Operational Excellence in Offshore Transportation while continuing to support emergency response to record-breaking floods in Rio Garde do Sul.

CHC will provide dedicated aircraft for the HAP stage of the project from Cabo Frio to deliver a programme of maintenance, upgrades and repairs on the floating production storage and offloading vessel.
