CHC do Brasil secures Petrobras award once more
Every month, CHC transports around 35,000 Petrobras offshore workers using a mixed fleet of S-92A and AW139 aircraft. This scale of activity is a core part of CHC's role in Brazil's energy sector.
CHC do Brasil has expanded its broader operations over the past three years, growing at pace to meet rising sector demand.

CHC do Brasil, part of CHC Helicopter, has been named the top provider for Operational Excellence in Offshore Transportation by Petrobras, securing the PEOTRAM award for the third consecutive year.

The annual PEOTRAM audit, conducted by Brazil's state‑owned energy company, evaluates offshore aviation operators against the IOGP 690 international standards for safety, maintenance and operational integrity. Over five days, three Petrobras‑appointed specialists assessed six prequalified companies, with CHC achieving the highest overall evaluation.

CHC's repeat success reflects its position as a global leader in safe and reliable offshore helicopter services. Backed by nearly 80 years of operational experience in some of the world's most remote and challenging environments, CHC has developed robust processes, procedures and a mature safety management system that drive consistent performance. These global standards are applied across all CHC bases, including its long‑established operations in Brazil.

Every month, CHC safely transports around 35,000 Petrobras offshore workers using a mixed fleet of S-92A and AW139 aircraft. This scale of activity, paired with consistent delivery in a demanding environment, is a core part of CHC's role in Brazil's energy sector.

Alongside this core support to Petrobras, CHC do Brasil has expanded its broader operations over the past three years, growing at pace to meet rising sector demand. Throughout this period of expansion, CHC has continued to strengthen its safety leadership through disciplined operations and a safety culture grounded in continuous improvement.

This sustained safety performance, reaffirmed through the PEOTRAM award, underscores why Petrobras continues to entrust CHC with responsibility for its critical offshore crew changes.

Gilson Caputo, CHC's operations director Brazil, says: “We are extremely proud to receive this recognition for the third year running. It reflects the strength of our safety culture and the high standards CHC applies across all operations in Brazil and worldwide. My thanks to our frontline and support teams whose commitment ensures we deliver outstanding service every day for customers across the region.”
