Following the signing of an MOU with SkyDrive in February 2025 to assess commercial flight paths above the renowned Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, the two companies subsequently agreed on a pre-order for up to 50 aircraft.

The collaboration will focus on three key pillars: establishing a comprehensive eVTOL ecosystem in Abu Dhabi, developing critical infrastructure and conducting commercialisation feasibility studies for the SkyDrive SD-05.

This project aims to conduct demonstration flights in the coastal and river areas within Fiscal Year 2026, followed by pre-commercial service implementation within Fiscal Year 2027.
