Deutsche breaks ground on D328eco final assembly line

The assembly line will have production capacity for 48 D328eco aircraft per year. A hangar will be built for aircraft delivery, along with a logistics centre and an administration building with parking spaces.

At the ground-breaking of Deutsche Aircraft's final assembly line at Leipzig/Halle airport, D328 operator Private Wings became the first customer for the 40 seat, sustainable D328eco.
Deutsche Aircraft has received EASA certification for its D328 In-Flight Operable Door (IFOD). Based on this, existing IFODs can be now modified to meet EASA conformity, and existing D328 doors replaced with the IFOD.
