VLJ Focus: Phenom training expansion plans for US and UK
Embraer CAE Training Services (ECTS) has launched its first pilot and technical training programs for the Phenom 100 at CAE's facility in Dallas, Texas.

Embraer CAE Training Services (ECTS) has launched its first pilot and technical training programs for the Phenom 100 at CAE's facility in Dallas, Texas. "This is a key milestone for the joint venture, which was established in October 2006 to provide pilot and ground crew training to Embraer customers of the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 jets," says Simon Newitt, Embraer's director of customer training.

A second Phenom 100/300 full flight simulator (FFS) is scheduled to be deployed at CAE's Burgess Hill training centre in the UK, in the first quarter of 2009. ECTS also plans to add a third Phenom 100 FFS at a location to be decided.
