The UK's Greater Manchester Police has brought its updated MD902 Explorer into service. GMP says the new helicopter (pictured) has been specially equipped by the UK distributor, Police Aviation Services.

"PAS has worked closely with Manchester Police's air observers right from the outset, 18 months ago, to closely evaluate operating requirements and the latest technology available to produce currently the most sophisticated police helicopter in the UK. This helicopter is vastly more effective than its predecessor and perhaps any other police helicopter in its class."
