JetBird has advanced its plans for a Europe air taxi service by forming a strategic partnership with Conrado Dornier to enhance its knowledge and expertise within the German market.

Dornier is making an equity investment in JetBird which plans to base in Geneva with an initial fleet order of up to 100 Embraer Phenoms. JetBird will provide a low cost private jet service, initially from Switzerland in 2009, and thereafter from other major European centres.
