Aircraft management firm Fiba Air has acquired a Hawker 800XP, which it will operate as an air taxi. The brand-new aircraft, which is based in Istanbul, is expected to accrue around 500 hours per year, 150 of which will be logged by the owner.

Aircraft management firm Fiba Air has acquired a Hawker 800XP, which it will operate as an air taxi.

The brand-new aircraft, which is based in Istanbul, is expected to accrue around 500 hours per

year, 150 of which will be logged by the owner.

The Hawker replaces a Premier I jet, which the company traded in. Fiba Air is owned by technical manager Osman Gozet and pilot Captain Aytac.

They chose the Hawker because of its range, Gozet said. "We want to be able to fly to a wide number

of destinations. It allows us to fly non-stop to London for example, which is good."

The Hawker 800XP has a maximum range of 2,960nm.
