Brian Rohloff has been named president and CEO of Textron Aviation, succeeding Ron Draper, who is retiring after eight years in charge of the business. The appointment takes effect on Monday, 31 August 2026. Draper will remain with the company through the end of the year as a senior advisor to support the transition.

Rohloff joined Textron Aviation nearly 30 years ago and has held leadership roles spanning customer support, sales, supply chain and quality. He most recently served as senior vice president, customer support, overseeing the company’s global customer support operations. Earlier roles include vice president, quality; vice president, sales; senior product director for the Citation XLS+ and Citation X; and director of paint operations. He is a graduate of Wichita State University. Draper’s tenure spans more than 27 years with Textron, including the past eight in charge of Textron Aviation.

The leadership change comes as Textron Aviation approaches its next century in aviation. Rohloff’s appointment follows a succession process intended to maintain continuity across the business’s manufacturing, quality, sales and customer support functions as the company moves into its next phase of leadership.
